<p>In other words the Nissan dealership will move across the street to make way for the COSTCO gas only station. Records show Andrews Rancho owns the property . BCH Holdings LLC, associated with the Nissan dealership, holds a long term lease under a December 2015 lease agreement </p>

            <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Norwalk- La Mirada unified School District this week marked the completion of a solar energy project meant to cut power costs and harmful emotions across a dozen of its campuses </p>
<p>District leaders, students, staff and partners gathered on Sep.1st to celebrate a 3.2 megawatt system installed with Luminance at 12 sites, including elementary, middle and high schools, a preschool and a district office. The Los Angeles wave reported on Sep.3rd</p>
<p>Officials say that the project will lower energy bills and reduce fossil fuel and reduce about 2,380 metric tons of carbon dioxide a year. Roughly the equivalent of removing 555 vehicles from the road annually.</p>
<p>Superintendent Tania Magaña called the project “A win for students, schools and our community. Robert Rabe, the company behind the Luminace’s  team stated that he was proud to deliver clean power across 12 campuses and pointed to the deal as an example of how school districts can hit sustainability goals while creating long-term community value. </p>
<p>NLMUSD serves about 13,600 students at 29 schools in Norwalk and La Mirada </p>

            <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A major renovation  is scheduled to begin in October, the first major upgrade to this historical site since 1970, Artform and Urbanize L.A have reported. </p>
<p>The work is planned to add more than 30,000 square feet of park space along E.107st, shade and seating at the amphitheater, walkways, public art, and add 200 trees on the 5 acre campus at 1727 E.107st. Completion is aimed at before the 2028 L.A Olympics. Funding includes a $10 million donation from the Bezos Earth Fund through the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust, plus state park and budget money.</p>
<p>Conservation work on the towers themselves is a separate project. Campus construction funds cannot be used on the towers.</p>
<p>The same campus is listed by the city’s Department of Cultural Affairs from a $22 million renovation project of the Watts Towers Arts Center r two public festivals this month: the 44th Watts Towers Day of the Drum on Saturday Sept. 26 and the 49th Simon Rodia Watts Towers Jazz Festival on Sunday Sept 27, Both 10am to 6pm.Historic towers tours are listed. Cultural Affairs pages list the events: they do not restate a 2026 ticket price  </p>

Investigators seized more than $153,000 in stolen beauty products and about $200,000 in cash.]]></description>

<p>Mah also said that the thieves would ship stolen goods to a hub, then re-sell them online. His team have been working on such crimes on a weekly basis and have recovered over $4 mil. In stolen products including a large ULTA haul. </p>
<p>The suspects names and charges were not mentioned at the time of this article.</p>

            <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It was supposed to be opened years ago, before the world cup but missed that. The builder (LINXS) sued the city in early July saying that LAWA (Los Angeles World Airports) hid delays and racked up charge orders. LAX says the claim has no merit. The original cost was $1.9 billion and has now increased to $3.3B now.</p>
<p> Until then riders will still be dumped at the Westchester transit center and take a shuttle bus  into the terminals. Airport traffic will still get worse. Why? Well we have the Superbowl LXI coming up at So-Fi in FEB 2027 then the Olympics in 2028. The people mover at LAX is basically built. But still empty carts are still making test trips on the elevated track. But still no passengers can ride it. (What&#39;s taking so long?)</p>
